ADAMS' Shota Passed Away after Suffering from Brain Stroke on Stage

ADAMS' vocalist and guitarist Shota has passed away this morning, on November 30th, 2015.

On November 28th Japanese duo ADAMS held its live in Warsaw, Poland, as part of their World Tour. The live in Warsaw was the 4th concert of the tour and many more should follow but in the evening of 28th the complete tour has been cancelled all of a sudden. The reason was a severe brain stroke guitarist Shota suffered from on stage in Warsaw.

Aurélie Vandecasteele, Co-founder and co-owner of label HIGHFeeL, confirmed this information in the morning after the live and pointed out that Shota's condition is very serious. In the morning of 30th another post appeared on her Facebook page revealing that Shota died in his sleep on November 30th, 5:19am (CET). It turns out that Aurélie Vandecasteele was his wife and she left an emotional entry on her facebook page which you can read here.

ADAM, vocalist of ADAMS, wrote a facebook entry as well saying that Shota "continued his fight for 36 hours but now he has left us for a place far away. He fell on stage while holding his microphone and singing our debut single "Dizzy love". Even while falling and losing consciousness he continued singing."

Our thoughts are with his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
